My name is Jennifer Larsen, aka Mrs. Jen. I am excited to begin my eighth-
year teaching here at Kinderbugs. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been happily married for 24 years and am the mother of two handsome young men, Jared, 21, and Kyle, 18. I have been a Preschool Teacher for more than 25 years and still love it!
I’ve taught children ranging from ages 2-5 for several schools in California, Oregon, and now Arizona. I have a Child Development Associate degree and I am trained in The Spalding Method for teaching speech, spelling, writing and reading. I also continue to attend educational seminars to keep my skills current with the leading research in the Early Childhood field.
I was thrilled to find Kinderbugs, which is so focused on our young ones getting a strong start in education. Early childhood programs are a very important factor in a child’s future potential by supporting physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. I believe that it all starts here, and along with Kinderbugs, I want to provide your children with a positive start in their educational journey. My goal as a teacher is to provide creative and meaningful experiences that will actively involve your child throughout
the year.
